Protect and Survive was a public information campaign on civil defence produced by the British government between 1974 and 1980. Comprised of a pamphlet, newspaper advertisements, radio broadcasts, and public information films, it was intended to advise the public on how to protect themselves during a nuclear attack.

The films were classified, intended for transmission on all television channels if it was determined that a nuclear attack was likely within 72 hours. Recordings of the films were leaked to CND and the BBC, who broadcast excerpts from them in March 1980. The programmes had a substantial impact upon the popular culture of the UK of the early 1980s, most notably in music.
